Youth Organizations
As a family-oriented community, our town hosts many youth organizations. These youth organizations provide children and teens vital opportunities to develop into successful adults.
Boy Scouts of america

Girl scouts of america
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.

Young Life
Young Life is a non-profit, Christian mentoring organization for adolescents. Young Life aims to introduce middle school, high school, and college-age students to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.
Young Life volunteer leaders go to local schools and get to know kids on their own turf. Leaders establish real, meaningful, and lifelong friendships with kids, earning the privilege to share with them the good news of Jesus.
Each summer, Young Life takes kids to their world-class camping properties around the United States. There, kids see the Gospel on display in incredibly beautiful ways. It's Young Life's desire to connect kids with local churches, joining them with the family of God that will support their faith for life.
If you'd like to get involved as a volunteer, donor, or student, please reach out to Sam Scott at SamScott@kyvl.younglife.org. You can also follow them on Facebook.
